Idea Journal

First year Master’s students in Creative Strategies were tasked with keeping an idea journal for an entire semester to use as a creative outlet. This exercise allowed me to challenge myself creatively and gain a deep appreciation for the creative process. For me, that looked like immediately jotting down my idea in my heavily used notes app, and then taking the time later to put pen to paper for the illustrations. I approached the journal by thinking of these illustrations as ‘seedlings’ for creative work.
